The MOST Mission

MOST (Mothers of Supertwins), a community of families, volunteers and professionals founded in 1987, is the leading national nonprofit provider of support, education and research on higher-order multiple births.  MOST's mission is to advocate for quality prenatal care, promote healthy deliveries, and supply information to all multiple birth families in order to  support successful parenting through every phase of their children's development.

As non-profit organizations, MOST and PreemieCare exist through the generous support of families and professionals. MOST and PreemieCare offer a variety of ways for individuals and organizations to donate.

We ask that you please consider supporting MOST in honor of your children's birthday or in memory of a loved one. You can support us through a monetary donation which is always desperately needed and appreciated. You may also want to consider giving a gift subscription for SUPERTWINS magazine to your children's doctor, babysitter, grandparents or other important members of your extended family. It is through reaching more families and professionals that we are able to better meet the needs of multiple birth families when they need it the most. Your family and friends can help too by designating MOST as their charity of choice, through the United Way, at their place of employment or by considering making a matching gift contribution to our organization.

Designate MOST through your employer

Revenue for MOST (Mothers of Supertwins) may be derived from:
  • Corporate sponsor grants from Medimmune, Inc. (An AstraZeneca International Company) and Matria Healthcare Systems
  • Project grants from private foundations
  • Direct donations from multiple birth families and individual supporters
  • Sponsorship opportunities such as publication of parenting booklets, survey and marketing material distribution, member database searches, MOST events, continuing education for professionals, public outreach programs, speaking engagements, and more.
  • Advertisements on the MOST website, in MOST’s free email newsletter eNews, or in MOST’s print publication SUPERTWINS magazine.
  • Contributions through a percentage of sales from affiliate program sites such as iGive and Amazon.com.
  • Purchase of MOST publications, books, member dues, subscriptions, and other products offered in the MOST Supertwins store.
  • MOST also receives an in-kind donation of Google advertising through the Google AdWords Grant program.
