MOST Support Volunteers

MOST has a large group of trained and dedicated volunteers available to offer support to multiple birth families. MOST volunteers are available to help with special issues and challenges, locate local support resources, and provide friendship and understanding through the ups and downs of parenting multiples. If you want to be put in touch with a MOST support volunteer, we have several options available:

MOST offers general support from volunteers, as well as over 100 topics for which volunteers are just a phone call away. For specific support, look up a topic in our category listing where each topic is linked to online resources as well.

To be put in touch with a volunteer, contact MOST by email or phone at (631) 859-1110.
As part of your MOST membership, access to the MOST Family Support Forums provides a secure, welcoming, and open environment for parents to share ideas, offer support, and find those much needed resources. Almost all of our volunteers, and especially our Mentor MOMs, visit the forums regularly to share their pearls of wisdom, tips, and time-honored advice. Learn more about participating on the MOST Family Support Forums.

MOST Mentor Program

The MOST Mentor program is a special designation indicating that a MOST volunteer has completed the entire MOST Volunteer Training Program.

Mentors who agree to abide by the rules of this program, are allowed to include the MOST Mentors logo on their website or blog as well as their social networking profiles. Their username in the MOST Family Support Forums will also include the logo, so that participants on the forum can identify members of this special group of volunteers.*

In addition to completing an extensive training program, MOST Mentors are expected to serve as dedicated stewards for MOST and it's mission at all times during  their communications with families and professionals online, by telephone, or in person. Mentors must embody the principles and values of MOST which include compassion, respect, and empowerment. Mentors are called upon when families need support for specific issues or to get them through a hard time. They are asked to promote MOST among families of multiples and the professionals who serve them, and to be a knowledgeable spokesperson on behalf of all multiples births.

If you would like to verify the use of the MOST Mentor badge on someone's blog, website or social media profile, MOST posts the names of all MOST Mentors on a certified list in the MOST Family Support Forums.

Feel free to contact MOST about any suspected unauthorized use of the MOST Mentor badge, or if you have any questions about the program.
